Building Community Counts…Affordability Counts
Our commitment extends beyond the lake to the surrounding Lake Community. Our process starts with engaging your community and delivering the knowledge needed to take control of the future of your lake.
We also understand that the best technology in the world is USELESS if your community can’t afford it. Waiting for State or Federal Government funding is a LOSING GAME. That’s why Lake Savers developed our unique Full Service Management Program that delivers complete Lake Renewal at an annual cost comparable to a typical weed treatment program. Read more here.

The Future of Your Lake is at Stake!
After more than 60 years of herbicides, dredging alum treatment and failed watershed management efforts, the condition of our lakes keeps getting worse. Invasive species infestation, beach closings, and toxic algae warnings are at all-time highs. Nearly 50% of North American Lakes are in peril according to the U.S. EPA. Your lake is not immune!
Fertilizer run-off from farms and lawns, over-development, polluted storm water, faulty septic and waste-water treatment systems are everywhere. Doing nothing is not an option. Continuing the same treatment practices that have proven incapable of restoring our lakes is certainly not a viable option either. Read more on conventional treatment failures here.
Our own wake-up call came with the decline of our Founder’s own beautiful, Michigan Lake. Five years of herbicide treatment for Eurasian Water Milfoil had been an expensive, wasted effort. The lake home he had worked so hard for and planned as a legacy to pass on to his children would soon be useless on a weed-choked, dying lake. It was our call to action. Read our founder’s story here.
We have independent, scientific proof that our process delivers dramatic improvements:
- 25% to 40% reductions in Eurasian Water Milfoil and Curly-leaf Pondweed in 90 days!
- 30% to 50% reductions in harmful blue-green algae blooms in one season.
- Organic “muck” reductions of 1 foot per season are typical.
