We started Lake Savers after living on a lake which had the same problems most lakes in America are experiencing today – excess weeds, blue-green algae, and the oxygen-robbing lake-bottom compost pile experienced as muck! As a seasoned business leader, our founder John Tucci went on a mission to save his Lake after a family event led him to discover his lake was quickly fading into suffocation.
Seeing less fish and cleaning weeds and algae from the water every month became almost normal. Until one year his daughter came in from swimming covered in a dark, smelly muck. Things had to change, or they would need to move away from the lake they loved and wanted to pass along to their grandchildren. Things did change and in a big way.
